I've been living in the east since 1984 when I moved here to attend graduate school, but I still plan to return California or some other part of the west. I married my wonderful wife in 1995 and adopted a daughter in 2005. I've been hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in sections since 2013, and have completed about half of it (most of the trail in California). Much of my professional work is devoted to understanding the physics of climate. |
