Comment: it never stops amazing me that we are looking at our 30 year reunion!!!  how is that possible???  when older people use to say to enjoy your youth because it goes by so fast, it was so easy to disregard that, feeling that life went on endlessly in front of us.  now i tell my kids the same thing because it feels like so much of life has happened in a blink of an eye. i'm greedy for time now because i know it will continue to swiftly fly by. there's too much left to do....





**Update** Since the 30th reunion, I have remarried as some of you know.  Though i will not ever get the 'Married the Longest' award, I look forward to introducing him to more of you.  I hope the intervening years since we last were together have been kind to all.  We have been blessed with marriages and grandbabies and new jobs and career paths!  Life is wonderful :-)

Comment: I graduated from USC in 1984 with a BS in Biomedical Engineering.  Had a blast in the USC Band, especially marching in the 1985 Rose Bowl Parade and Game!  After taking the MCATs and applying to medical schools, I instead spent nearly 20 years in the high tech software world, the last at VERITAS Software (now Symantec) as manager of the backline and escalation software support teams.  I quit work in early 2004, soon after the birth of our girl/boy twins, to be a full time stay-at-home dad.





My partner of 20 years and I were legally married in 2008.  We live in Los Altos, 5 blocks from the house where my parents still live.  I am thankful that I am able to walk the twins to/from school at Santa Rita Elementary and spend most of my free time volunteering in their classrooms, the school gardens and library.  Am excited that they may attend Egan and LAHS someday, though as they are just starting 2nd grade, it is still a few years away...  ;-)
