Comment: Hi Everyone - what a kick to see this site and old friends! I now live in Seattle area and have been working in advertising, marketing, and public relations in the technology industry for many years. It's fun to see the friends I grew up with a/ LAHS and how your talent that showed way back when still blossoms today.  I doubt I can make it for the reunion, but here's to celebrating friends and great times still treasured!

Comment:  Like many of you I too graduated from San Jose State University, I earned my BS in Nursing. My specialty from my senior internship until now has always been Emergency and Trauma Services. After working in the Bay Area for a year and needing a fresh start, I joined the United States Air Force and served as an officer in the Nurse Corps. After one hitch I decided it was too hard being a single Mom in the service, and moved to San Diego with my two young sons where I continued to work in Level One ER/Trauma Centers, and had the great fortune to meet my current spouse Ken; an Aerospace Engineer. In May 2001 we choose to move to Plano Texas (very much like Silicon Valley). I continued working ER until 2005 when I decided to return to school to pursue my Master's degree. I completed my Master's in May 2009, and now I am dual certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Nurse Practitioner. I am currently working for an Urgent Care company called "CareNow". When Ken and I have free time we like to volunteer at the indigent medical clinic in our community, and travel! God Bless all y'all (it's a Texas “thang”) have a wonderful reunion.
